basketball-legends.net is a small, independent site built around one game: Basketball Legends, the half-court arcade game whose real trick is that two people can play it on one keyboard without setting anything up.

Everything here stays in that lane. Alongside Basketball Legends you will find head-to-head court games, dunk games and shot-timing hoops — and nothing else. This is not trying to be a catalogue of a thousand titles across twenty genres; if you came here for a basketball game, the next thing you see should be one.

Every embed is checked before it is listed

Browser games rot. A publisher moves a build, a mirror is deleted, a script starts throwing and the page still answers 200 while nothing plays. So every game on this site was loaded in a real browser and watched until it either became playable or did not. Of the basketball titles available, thirty-one passed, five were left out for throwing errors mid-game, and one — Perfect Dunk — never renders a game at all. Those six are not here.

The same check found that three entries were the same game: the build published as Basketball Legends, the one published as Basketball Legends 2020, and a third copy on a mirror all open on the same title screen. This site carries it once, on the newest build, rather than as three pages competing with each other.

How the pages are built

These are static files. There is no database and no server-side rendering — the whole site is generated once and served straight off disk, which is why a page opens before you have finished letting go of the mouse. The game itself only starts downloading when you press Play.

Ownership and rights

This is a fan site. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the studios and portals that made and publish these games. Basketball Legends and every other title listed here remains the property of its own developer, and each one is played through its publisher’s embed. If you own a game listed here and want it removed, get in touch and it comes down — no forms, no argument.
